"My Journey" Brenda

For over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside families as they navigate the life-changing path of adoption. As the founder and Executive Director of Adoption Home Study Services of Ohio, I’ve worked with families pursuing domestic, international, embryo, and foster adoptions. My journey also includes eight years in the public foster care system, where I gained a deep understanding of the complexities—and the profound rewards—of building families through alternative paths. I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker and earned my degree from Case Western Reserve University, where my passion for supporting families first took root.

Adoption isn’t just my profession; it’s a personal calling. As an adoptive grandmother, I’ve experienced the beauty and challenges of adoption within my own family, which fuels my passion and compassion for the families I serve. I’m committed to providing, personalized, and thoughtful guidance at every step. Families often describe me as calm, responsive, and encouraging—and I cherish being a steady presence during such a meaningful time in their lives.
