Ready to get started? Find the Home Study Application in the "Downloadable Documents" section under the “More” drop-down menu.

Once you’ve completed it, email it to Tabitha@TNHomeStudy.com or Brent@TNHomeStudy.com  and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

After we receive your application, we’ll send a welcome email with more details, a checklist of required documents, and an outline of the process. The email will also include available dates and times to schedule a phone call so we can review your application and answer any questions. 

During this call, we’ll review your application, talk about your adoption journey, discuss your needs and goals, and answer any questions you have. These calls are flexible and can easily be scheduled after hours or on weekends to fit your schedule. 

Next, you can pay through the secure website, via a secure link we email, or by mailing a check. 

We also offer an optional, streamlined background check. If you choose to use this service, this is the time to submit payment. 

Before the home visit, gather the documents from your checklist and complete any remaining forms, including your collaborative autobiography, financial details, and medical statements. Be sure to schedule doctor visits and confirm your references to help the process run smoothly. 

During the home visit, we’ll walk tour your home and property, talk with you and your family, and review your documents together. This visit helps us get to know you better and understand the environment your child will be living in, while completing an important part of your home study assessment.
